We’re pet parents, too
We love welcoming new pets and their people to the Eno family! Would you like to meet us and establish care? Please call our happy team of Fear Free pros at (919) 471-0308 or easily book online. To show our appreciation for choosing Eno Animal Hospital, you get $40 off your first vet visit.
Who We Are
Our fearless leader is Dr. Sabrina Grinstead, who took over in 2011 and has grown the Eno team and family by leaps and bounds. Dr. G has experience as a large animal mobile vet, a relief vet, and an emergency vet. Now she focuses her considerable talents on what she loves most: small animal medicine and surgery.
In 2011, Dr. Grinstead became Eno’s owner and started envisioning a brand new beautiful hospital. After three years of careful and intense planning and design, Eno’s new home opened in early 2019 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and huge party to celebrate.
Under her leadership, we’ve won multiple local awards, become a Fear Free hospital, adopted a dog park, bolstered our community support, and further strengthened our commitment to gold-standard medicine, education, and inclusion.
Your Eno humans also include Dr. Allison Lecuyer, Dr. Amanda Armstrong, and a happy team of animal lovers dedicated to excellence. Get to know all of us!

FEAR FREE PROS
Eno Animal Hospital is certified Fear Free, which means your Eno humans take happy visits very seriously.
The cornerstone of Fear Free is trust, which we build over time with victory visits, gentle handling, and other proven methods to lessen fear, anxiety, and stress.
ENO PRIDE
We’re proud to be a small local business, independent, woman owned, and women led. We’ve been featured in local news for our fundraising effort, Snout Support, and continue to win awards from our community.

Eno pet parents say they would never take their fur babies anywhere else.
Out & About
Having fun is important to us! We love to support our community—and answer lots of vet questions—at many local events, especially the APS Walk for the Animals, Festival for the Eno, and food truck rodeos at Durham Central Park.
At each local event we sponsor, we set up a booth with an awesome prize wheel and hold a drawing for a grand prize basket stuffed with toys and treats and goodies.
You’ll find us many Saturdays at our adopted dog park, Rock Quarry, happily chatting with dog park regulars and getting cute pictures of pups for our social media. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see amazing pets and people!
Our Story Continues…
Our story grows richer and deeper every time we help a pet. Many Eno patients have been with us their whole lives.
We love watching puppies and kittens grow up, keeping them healthy and happy through every stage of life, healing them when they are sick, and helping them through their senior years.
We promise to be here every step of the way, especially for tough times. Along the journey, pet parents often become our friends.
Call us at (919) 471-0308 to get to know your Eno humans! We’re always happy to answer questions and offer help. Every day we write another Eno chapter.
